2009 proved to be a great year for video games, with the release of a lot of amazing games. Towards the end of the year – with the launch of Modern Warfare 2, Borderlands, Assassin’s Creed 2, etc – I had was very pressed for time to do something else to play. And that’s without considering my Street Fighter 4 addiction. As 2010 is already here, we’re going to have to put down modern warfare and check out some of the upcoming games. The release is the first major Mass Effect 2. To be honest, it’s hard for me to get too excited about this game. The other was too awkward for me to finish (I got through about 60%). I also never really connected with the characters, despite the creation of science fiction great. However, first impressions are stacking up to show that they made big improvements. My guess is that reviewers are calling this a must-buy, and I’m sure he’ll pick. Below is Battlefield: Bad Company 2. This game will have a much bigger profile, but for modern warfare, but good. Since the images of the game, maybe he has a different style of game MW2, with great multiplayer maps that move in the fight different territories (which will move from rural to urban areas on the same stage). I can not wait to get my hands on this game. I have to mention Army of Two: on 40. The first impressions are positive, although I do not like the way the game feels to play the demo. Sorry, I’ve never been a fan of Army of Two. I am, however, a fan of Splinter Cell, and I can not wait to get my hands on Splinter Cell Conviction. It looks sweet – in fact returned to the drawing board after the latest failed. They are introducing some novel gameplay mechanics, which is hard to do at this age, where we saw everything under the sun. Finally, Microsoft Project recently discovered that Natal is scheduled for a 2010 launch. I am very happy about this: The promotional video looks amazing product. I think this will be a game-changer, and it will solidify Microsoft’s dominance in the field. Of course, there is the possibility that it might flop, but I sincerely hope that consumers are given a chance. Microsoft is risking a lot (rumors have it to sell for cheap to make a big install base), and I hope worth it for them (and us).
